SLMB rehabilitates storm ravaged school

By Ladenson Kamah in Bo

Authorities of the Sierra Leone Muslim Brotherhood (SLMB) mission have completed the rehabilitation of their storm damaged lower primary school building at Nikkibu section in Bo.

The project was funded by the mission authorities including the national vice president Sheik Mohamed Aruna Koneh, regional president Osman Kawusu, and essay and the education secretary Joseph Kaimafo Momoh.

The rehabilitation was part of the mission's desire to constantly provide quality education for children.

It could be recalled that on March 4, this year a heavy storm damaged the entire roof of their four class room building leaving the mission with no alternative but to introduce a shift system in the only surviving building.

On the completion of the rehabilitation project, spearheaded by the education secretary, teachers and pupils have expressed delight over the return of the school to a single shift.
